Mayela is the Executive Vice President of
Media Vista Group, LLC and host of the most popular Spanish language TV show in
Southwest Florida, D’Latinos.
Originally, from Maracaibo, Venezuela, she earned a degree in Journalism and
Communications from the prestigious University of Zulia and spent 12 years in
TV commercial production, created international advertising campaigns and produced
television programs. While in Venezuela,
she belonged to the board of Associated Creative Directors of the International
Advertising Agency, “DDB Needham Worldwide.”
Mayela Rosales has pioneered the
development of local-Spanish content in Southwest Florida and has become a
Latina leader in the local television as well as the community. As a result of
this success, in April 2005, Cape Coral, Florida’s Mayor Arnold Kempe proclaimed
April 1 as “Mayela Rosales Day” in honor of her civic and charitable
contributions to the Hispanic community.
United States Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart
delivered a special recognition from Congress, as they honored Mayela as one of
10 most influential women in the United States in 2009. Her name will forever
be carved in stone in the Capitol of the United States, Washington
D.C. The Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Florida also
recently recognized Rosales as one of the most influential women in Southwest
Florida in 2008.
In 2008 Mayela Rosales participated in the
Broadcast Leadership program at the NAB in Washington DC. The program is
designed specifically for executives who desire to acquire and manage TV or
Radio stations in US. The program allowed Mayela Rosales to meet and establish
relationships in the Media industry at a National level with leaders from the
broadcast industry.
Mayela excels in the production and
business development side of the company, overseeing D’Latinos executive production, coordinating creative and efficient
advertising campaigns for clients, and she brings new businesses to the company
that translates into additional revenue.
Mayela is a relationship cultivator who benefits the company by
providing an influential reputation for Media Vista Group, LLC.
Mayela makes time to be active in many
civic and charitable organizations in Southwest Florida as part of board of
directors, including The Conservancy of Southwest Florida and Fifth Third Bank.
She is also founder of the Council for Hispanic Business Professionals. She has supported innumerable events for
non-profit organizations like Ronald McDonald House, Hospice of Naples,
Catholic Charities, Literacy Volunteers and the Ave Maria University Golf Tournament.
As the public visibility of
her organization increases, her role and responsibility as a “Latina Leader”
also grows to fertilize the company’s relationship with its audiences and to
create valuable information for the growing Hispanic Community.
ORLANDO ROSALES - President
and CEO
Orlando Rosales is President and CEO of
Media Vista Group, LLC. Originally from
Maracaibo, Venezuela, he has embraced entrepreneurship in the United States.
Rosales is the principal original and
creator of D’Latinos. Orlando earned a degree in Computer Science with a vast
experience in developing smart computer systems, sophisticated programming
databases for human resource departments and direct marketing data processing
for several companies.
Rosales touts excellence in the work place
with 15 years of experience managing programmers and creating expert systems
that convert complicated business process into simple, profitable and
accessible to the end user. His entrepreneur point of view was initially born
working inside a challenging petroleum company named PDVSA in Venezuela where
he began his computer engineering career developing a division dedicated to
creating new technology software, computer based training. The program developed by Orlando trains
employees and preserves the “knowledge” of the experts in the fields of
Engineering, Human Resources, and Drill Perforation.
When he and his wife, Mayela immigrated to
the United States he continued working as a software developer with marketing
companies to reduce manual processes and incorporate more automated procedures.
In 2001, Orlando Rosales continued his full time job while creating a new
venture, Media Vista. His leadership has influenced all aspects of Media Vista
Group’s production and growth of operations including new media product
development, review of legal requirements, agreements and negotiations with
cable companies and compliance with FCC regulations.
Orlando’s experience has provided him with
a wealth of experience as a business owner, media platform innovator with a
focus on business responsibility to minimize costs and maximize results. Orlando
also excels at developing creative concepts for new product and service
development. He is a visionary and coaching leader who provides development
support to staff and also creates new ways to grow the business and evaluates
and acts upon opportunities to expand his company’s footprint.
